On April 1, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Sumidtra Prathep, M.D., Vice Dean for Global Affairs and Corporate Communications, Dr. Pannawit Benjhawaleemas, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology, and Assoc. Prof. Keerati Hongsakul, M.D. Head of Minimal Invasive Surgery Interventional Radiology (PSUMiSIR), warmly welcomed 12 Health Professionals from Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Referral Hospital, Bhutan (JDWNRH) for a three-months clinical training program in Interventional Radiology. 

This short-term clinical training is an Interdisciplinary Training designed for healthcare professionals in Radiology and Anesthesiology. It aims to enhance and equip participants with advanced clinical knowledge and skills in state-of-art, image-guided, including minimally invasive procedures for both vascular and non-vascular conditions. 

This initiative reflects the strong and trusted partnership between the Faculty of Medicine, PSU and Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National Referral Hospital, Bhutan (JDWNRH). It is expected to further strengthen institutional collaboration as well as contribute positively to public health development, supporting both current and future healthcare challenges.
